1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to higher education; requiring the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota
1.3State Colleges and Universities to develop a plan for timely degree completion
1.4for certain transfer students.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
1.7BACCALAUREATE DEGREE COMPLETION PLAN.
1.8The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities shall develop
1.9a plan to implement multi-campus articulation agreements that lead to baccalaureate degree
1.10completion upon earning the number of credits required for the degree minus 60 credits at
1.11a system university after transfer to the system university by a student with an associate in
1.12arts degree, associate of science degree, or an associate of fine arts (AFA) degree from
1.13a system college. The board shall report on this plan to the legislative committees with
1.14primary jurisdiction over higher education finance and policy by March 15, 2015.
