1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 126C.10, subdivision 28, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subd. 28. Equity region. For the purposes of computing equity revenue under
1.8subdivision 24, a districtwith its administrative office located in Anoka, Carver, Dakota,
1.9Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington County on January 1, 2012, with any of its
1.10area located within the seven-county metropolitan area or with any of its area in the
1.11Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI Metropolitan Statistical Area delineated by
1.12the federal Office of Management and Budget is part of the metro equity region. All other
1.13districts are part of the rural equity region.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for fiscal year 2015 and later.
