1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to human services; modifying senior nutrition programs; appropriating
1.3money for congregate dining;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section
1.4256.9752, subdivision 2.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 256.9752, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
1.7    Subd. 2. Authority. The Minnesota Board on Aging shall allocate to area agencies
1.8on aging the state and federal funds which are received for the senior nutrition programs
1.9of congregate dining and home-delivered meals in a manner consistent with federal
1.10requirements.

1.11    Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION; CONGREGATE DINING.
1.12$625,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
1.13Board on Aging for congregate dining services under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.14256.9752. Notwithstanding any other law or rule to the contrary, this is a onetime
1.15appropriation and is available until expended.
