September 11, 2012, Introduced by Senator BOOHER and referred to the Committee on Agriculture.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1988 PA 466, entitled

 

"Animal industry act,"

 

(MCL 287.701 to 287.746) by adding section 11c.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 11c. All swine possessed in this state shall bear

 

official identification.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act may be referred to as

 

the "pork industry governance standards act".
