     A bill to make, supplement, and adjust appropriations for the

 

department of environmental quality for the fiscal year ending

 

September 30, 2016; and to provide for the expenditure of the

 

appropriations.

PART 2

 

PROVISIONS CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS

 

GENERAL SECTIONS

 

     Sec. 201. In accordance with the provisions of section 30 of

 

article IX of the state constitution of 1963, total state spending

 

from state resources in this appropriation act for the fiscal year

 

ending September 30, 2016 is $3,000,000.00 and state appropriations

 

paid to local units of government are $0.

 

     Sec. 202. The appropriations authorized under this act are

 

subject to the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101

 

to 18.1594.

 

 

 

DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

 

WASTEWATER TREATMENT

 

     Sec. 301. From the funds appropriated in part 1 for wastewater

 

treatment program, the department of environmental quality shall

 

administer an on-site wastewater treatment systems program and

 

develop a database of information related to on-site wastewater

 

treatment systems in this state.

 

     Enacting section 1. This act does not take effect unless

 

Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5732 (request no. 00533'15) of

 

the 98th Legislature is enacted into law.
