ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 4337

AN ACT to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled �An act to consolidate prior acts naming certain Michigan highways; to provide for the naming of certain highways; to prescribe certain duties of the state transportation department; and to repeal acts and parts of acts and certain resolutions,� by amending section 103 (MCL 250.1103), as added by 2021 PA 76.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

Sec. 103. (1) The portion of highway US-127 in Clinton County beginning at the intersection of highway US‑127 and Wildcat Road and extending north to the intersection of highway US-127 and Livingston Road shall be known as the �PFC Ronald James Fitch Memorial Highway�.

(2) The portion of highway M-50 in Eaton County beginning at the intersection of highway M-50 and highway I-69 and extending west to the intersection of highway M-50 and Courthouse Drive shall be known as the �Ensign Francis Flaherty Medal of Honor Recipient Memorial Highway�. If sufficient private contributions are received to pay the cost of erecting and maintaining suitable markers for the portion of highway M-50 described in this subsection as provided in section 2, those markers must be designed as follows:

(a) On the first line, �Ensign Francis Flaherty�.

(b) On the second line, �Medal of Honor Recipient�.
