An Act to include dental benefits in all Commonwealth Care Plans.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 118H of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the definition of “eligible health insurance plan” and inserting in place thereof the following definition:-

“Eligible health insurance plan”, a health insurance plan that meets the criteria, established by the board, for receiving premium assistance payments; provided, that such criteria must require plans to include medically necessary dental services, including preventative and restorative procedures; and provided further, that no eligible health insurance plan may require an annual deductible.
