SENATE RESOLUTION


     MADAM PRESIDENT:

    I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:

    A SENATE RESOLUTION urging the legislative council to authorize the Criminal Law Study Commission to hold up to 10 meetings during the 2011 interim.

    Whereas, The Criminal Law Study Commission is tasked with studying many issues that are important to the state of Indiana; and

    Whereas, In order to study these issues, it is important that the Commission be authorized to hold up to 10 meetings during the 2011 interim: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:


    SECTION 1. The Indiana Senate urges the legislative council to authorize the Criminal Law Study Commission to hold up to 10 meetings during the 2011 interim.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the legislative council through the Executive Director of the Legislative Services Agency.
