School on the occasion of its centennial.

RESOLUTION No. ________
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION to recognize St. Adalbert
Parish School on the occasion of its centennial.
Whereas, the St. Adalbert Parish was founded in 1910 as
the last of four Parishes dedicated to serving the large Polish
Roman Catholic population who immigrated to the South
Bend area and were united by their belief in the redeeming
and Real Presence of Jesus Christ; and,
Whereas, the St. Adalbert Parish has been strengthening
the families and community of South Bend for over one
hundred years through evangelization, vibrant worship, the
education of children, the faith formation of the people of
God, and the service to those in need; and,
Whereas, the St. Adalbert Parish School was dedicated
September 4, 1911; Therefore:
SECTION 1. that the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates and honors the St. Adalbert Parish School of the Fort
Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese on the occasion of its centennial,
with best wishes for continued success and sincere thanks for their
ongoing commitment to providing quality education, religious
experience, and service opportunities to aid in the total development of
all their students.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House transmit a copy
of this resolution to the St. Adalbert Parish School.
