Bill Title: Disciplinary process for firefighters and police. Establishes minimum rights of a full-time, paid, nonprobationary member of a fire department or a police department (a public safety officer) to be represented in any interaction that may result in an adverse employment action against the public safety officer. Allows the public safety officer to choose representation by either or both of the following: (1) Legal counsel. (2) Labor organization representative or other representative. Provides that an interaction with the public safety officer's employer or supervisor may not proceed until the public safety officer is provided a reasonable opportunity and amount of time
