Bill Title: Transitional addiction care in nursing homes study. Requires the state department of health (state department) to study before September 1, 2019, the feasibility of establishing a transitional housing program that would allow a health facility to use a portion of its facility for the temporary housing of individuals recovering from substance use disorder upon the individual's discharge from an inpatient facility substance use disorder treatment program. Sets forth requirements of the study. Requires the state department to submit a written report to the general assembly not later than October 1, 2019.
