Bill Title: Agricultural education. Provides that after June 30, 2020, a school corporation, charter high school, or accredited nonpublic high school may not be placed in the highest category or designation of school improvement unless the school corporation, charter high school, or accredited nonpublic high school offers as part of its high school curriculum at least one course in agriculture science. Provides that a student may receive an excused absence from school if the student: (1) participates or exhibits in a 4-H club or FFA event; or (2) is at least 14 years of age and assists a parent with farm work associated with the planting or harvesting of crops.
