Bill Title: Teachers. Establishes the Indiana teacher retention and recruitment program to improve teacher retention rates, recruitment, and quality. Establishes the Indiana teacher retention and recruitment program fund to be used to fund programs developed by the department in consultation with teachers, educators, and other education interest groups. Establishes the Indiana new teacher mentoring program and fund to provide grants to school corporations and charter schools to be used for stipends for mentors.
