Summary

Requires the budget of a public library district, other than a library district in Marion County, to be approved by the appropriate municipal or county fiscal body. (Current law requires the appropriate fiscal body to approve the library district budget if the district has a percentage increase in the proposed budget for the ensuing calendar year that is more than the result of the assessed value growth quotient for the ensuing calendar year minus one.)
