Summary
Sheriff's department retirement plans. Provides that certain sheriffs and county police officers are granted service credit in their respective county sheriff's department retirement plans for service to those county sheriff's departments before the effective dates of the county sheriff's department retirement plans. Provides that certain sheriffs and county police officers simultaneously waive their accrued service credit in the public employees' retirement fund for their service to those county sheriff's departments before the effective dates of the county sheriff's department retirement plans.
