Summary

Changes the community transition program (CTP) commencement dates for offenders. Requires the department of correction (department) to provide certain additional information when the department gives notice of an offender's eligibility for a CTP. Changes eligibility requirements to participate in CTPs. Requires the department to notify certain individuals if an offender is released to a CTP. Permits certain sentences to be suspended or reduced if the offender is participating in a CTP. Makes different provisions regarding CTPs consistent with one another.
