Summary
State disaster emergencies. Provides that a state of disaster emergency may not continue for longer than 30 days unless the state of disaster emergency is renewed for an additional 30 days by the governor and the general assembly is in session or the governor has called for a special session under Article 4, Section 9 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana. Provides that, after the initial 30 day renewal of the state of disaster emergency, any subsequent renewal or revision of the state of disaster emergency may be renewed or revised by the governor every 30 days. Provides that the state of disaster emergency is terminated if, during any 60 day period while the state of disaster emergency is in effect, the general assembly has not been in session or the governor has not called for a special session under Article 4, Section 9 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana. Provides that a special session of the general assembly may convene at any time during the 30 days after which the governor issues a proclamation that calls for a special session of the general assembly.
