Summary

Allows the division of fire and building safety to provide expedited review of plans and specifications of only an agency of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of state government, including a state educational institution. Prohibits the fire prevention and building safety commission from establishing a fee for the expedited review of plans and specifications. Voids an administrative rule of the fire prevention and building safety commission that permits a fee of $5,000 to be charged for expedited review of plans and specifications of certain categories of buildings and structures.
