Summary

Youth sports concussions. Makes findings concerning concussions in youth sports and recreational activities. Defines "athletic trainer", "coach", "concussion", "game official", and "player" for purposes of the concussion and head injury statute. Encourages youth sports organizations to disseminate information concerning concussions to coaches, game officials, parents, and players. Sets forth who may remove players and high school athletes from practices or games for suspected concussions. Requires school corporations, charter schools, and accredited nonpublic schools to establish concussion oversight teams to establish protocols for returning to learn after a concussion.
