Bill Title: Amends the Illinois State Police Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Division of the Academy and Training shall administer and conduct a program to train qualified active and retired State Police officers regarding the use and carrying of concealed firearms consistent with specified federal law. Amends the Illinois Police Training Act. Provides that the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board may not charge retired law enforcement officers more than $30 annually to complete the annual certification of retired law enforcement officers qualified under federal law to carry a concealed weapon.
