| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Mary T. Janocha of North Chicago, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on October 8, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was born on February 27, 1927 in | ||||||
| 6 | North Chicago and was a lifelong resident; her parents were | ||||||
| 7 | Stanley and Catherine Janocha; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Mary Janocha worked as a secretary at North | ||||||
| 9 | Chicago High School for many years until her retirement; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was a member of Queen of Peace | ||||||
| 11 | Catholic Church in North Chicago, the Catholic Women's Club of | ||||||
| 12 | Lake County, and the PRCU Polish Roman Catholic Union; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Mary Janocha was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
| 14 | her brothers, Joseph, Ted, and Anthony; her niece, Ann | ||||||
| 15 | Lakiotis; her nephew, Andy Janocha; and her brothers-in-law, | ||||||
| 16 | Robert Belec and Arthur Isaacson; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Mary Janocha is survived by her sisters, Ann | ||||||
| 18 | Janocha, Theresa Belec, and Josephine Isaacson; her special | ||||||
| 19 | godchild, Cathie (Michael) Malone; and many nieces and nephews; | ||||||

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary T. Janocha; and | ||||||
| 4 | be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
