| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Mary Asadorian of Granite City, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 3, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was born in Granite City to Abraham | ||||||
| 6 | and Hermine (Soukiasian) Kambarian on August 16, 1924; she | ||||||
| 7 | married Edward Asadorian on October 4, 1947; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was a homemaker and a mom and had a | ||||||
| 9 | generous and friendly nature; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was a member of St. Gregory the | ||||||
| 11 | Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Granite City, where | ||||||
| 12 | she was active with the Ladies Guild and the Mr. & Mrs. Club; | ||||||
| 13 | she was also a member of the Lincoln Place Heritage | ||||||
| 14 | Association; she enjoyed playing bingo, entertaining friends, | ||||||
| 15 | and spending time with her family; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 17 | parents; her husband, Edward; her brothers, Jerry and Virgil | ||||||
| 18 | Kambarian; her sister, Charlotte (Fred) McMillan; and her | ||||||
| 19 | infant sister, Perooz Kambarian; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian is survived by her children, Eddie | ||||||

| 1 | (Norma) Asadorian, Arthur (Pam) Asadorian, and Melanie | ||||||
| 2 | (Graham) Keeney; her grandchildren, Andrew (Chelsea) Asadorian | ||||||
| 3 | and Angela (Zane Potter) Keeney; her stepgrandchildren, Rick | ||||||
| 4 | and Tiffany Evans; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenzie and | ||||||
| 5 | Ian Evans; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many | ||||||
| 6 | other close family members and friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Mary Asadorian and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
