2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Betty J. Hettermann of Johnsburg, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on May 7, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Betty Hettermann was born in Chicago to John and | ||||||
6 | Ann (Oertel) Dehn on August 18, 1928; she married James W. | ||||||
7 | Hettermann at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg | ||||||
8 | on May 13, 1950; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Betty Hettermann was a prominent business woman in | ||||||
10 | McHenry for many years, serving as President of Charles | ||||||
11 | Herdrich and Son; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Betty Hettermann was a longtime member of St. John | ||||||
13 | the Baptist Catholic Church; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Betty Hettermann was preceded in death by her | ||||||
15 | parents; her husband, James W.; her brothers, Richard and | ||||||
16 | William Dehn; and her sisters, Joan (Ted) Beeskow and Rita | ||||||
17 | (Bob) Fischer; and

18 | WHEREAS, Betty Hettermann is survived by her two daughters, | ||||||
19 | Joy (James) Boarini and Karen (David) Rothery; her son, Scott | ||||||
20 | (Chris) Hettermann; her nephew, Ted (Sue) Stilling; her |

12 | Betty J. Hettermann, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
13 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
