2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Kenneth P. Miller of Woodstock, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on April 22, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was born in Chicago to Paul and | ||||||
6 | Hilda (Bauermann) Miller on August 4, 1936; he served in the | ||||||
7 | United States Army from 1958 until 1962 as part of an armored | ||||||
8 | division stationed in Germany and Fort Knox, Kentucky; he | ||||||
9 | married Corinne Clesen in Arlington Heights on June 19, 1959; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller worked for Country Financial for 30 | ||||||
12 | years as a Claims Adjuster in McHenry, Lake, and Boone | ||||||
13 | Counties; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller enjoyed working on his computer, | ||||||
15 | organizing family photos and doing genealogy; he loved his | ||||||
16 | dogs, Mitzi and Sparky; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents; his in-laws, Mary and Arthur Clesen; and an infant | ||||||
19 | daughter, Michelle; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller is survived by his wife of 56 |

1 | years, Corinne; his son, Brett Miller; his daughter, Laura | ||||||
2 | Gorski; his three granddaughters, Amanda, Madeline, and Grace | ||||||
3 | Gorski; his brother, Chuck (Tina) Miller; and his sister, | ||||||
4 | Caroline (Carl) Davis; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Kenneth P. Miller, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
9 | further
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Kenneth Miller as an expression of | ||||||
