| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Lawrence L. "Larry" Minor of Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 15, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Minor was born in Clinton, Iowa to Warren | ||||||
| 6 | and Mary "Madge" (nee Pinter) Minor; he served in the United | ||||||
| 7 | States Army; he married Ruth "Cookie" Langdon in Rock Island on | ||||||
| 8 | December 28, 1962; he later married Linda Serres in East Moline | ||||||
| 9 | on June 26, 1977; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Minor owned Bucky's in Moline and managed | ||||||
| 11 | the Old Oaks Steak House in Milan; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Minor enjoyed golfing and family poker | ||||||
| 13 | games; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Minor was preceded in death by his first | ||||||
| 15 | wife, Ruth; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Lawrence Minor is survived by his children, | ||||||
| 17 | Shawnae (Shawn) Van Alsburg, Stephanie (Brian) Haezebroeck, | ||||||
| 18 | Jason (Christie) Minor, Lindsey (Don) Moore, Zach (Angie) | ||||||
| 19 | Minor, Buddy (Erin) Minor, Brittany (Kevin) Olson, Tanner | ||||||
| 20 | (Leah) Minor, and Trevor Minor; his 19 grandchildren; his 1 | ||||||

| 1 | great-grandson; and his brothers, Wayne (Lil) Minor and Doug | ||||||

| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Lawrence L. "Larry" Minor, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
| 6 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
