| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Ramon M. Vasquez of Rock Island, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on September 6, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was born in Brownsville, Texas on | ||||||
| 6 | December 16, 1929 to Francisco and Candida (nee Medrano) | ||||||
| 7 | Vasquez; he married Guadalupe Flores in Texas on December 1, | ||||||
| 8 | 1951; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was employed at the former Eagles | ||||||
| 10 | Warehouse for over 27 years as a machine operator and in | ||||||
| 11 | produce receiving and distribution; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic | ||||||
| 13 | Church in Milan; he loved dancing, watching western movies, and | ||||||
| 14 | working in his yard; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 16 | and his brother, Fernando M. Vasquez; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez is survived by his wife, Guadalupe; | ||||||
| 18 | his sons, Oscar Vasquez and David Vasquez; his grandson, Lance | ||||||
| 19 | (Cheryl) Vasquez; his granddaughter, Lorrie (Dale) Mickels; | ||||||
| 20 | his 6 great-grandchildren; his sister, Juanita Garcia; many | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | nieces and nephews; and his special buddy "Pacco" the family | ||||||
| 2 | pet; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Ramon M. Vasquez, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 7 | further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to the family of Ramon Vasquez as an expression of | ||||||
| 10 | our deepest sympathy.
