| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Marlene A. Shields (nee Franz) of | ||||||
| 4 | Waukegan, who passed away on November 20, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Marlene Shields was born on July 26, 1934 in | ||||||
| 6 | Waukegan to Robert and Marie Franz; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Marlene Shields retired from the Outboard Marine | ||||||
| 8 | Corporation in Waukegan after 32 years; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Marlene Shields enjoyed spending time with family | ||||||
| 10 | and friends and polka dancing with her husband; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Marlene Shields was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 12 | parents; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Marlene Shields is survived by her husband of 62 | ||||||
| 14 | years, Eugene; her children, William (Marie) Shields, Sharon | ||||||
| 15 | (Hugh) Smith, and Kathleen (David) Wendricks; her 7 | ||||||
| 16 | grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna | ||||||
| 17 | (Edward) Bukantis; and her brother, Robert (Jane) Franz; | ||||||
