| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Jean Wilson Muscadin, M.D., who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 22, 2023; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin was born in the Dondon province of | ||||||
| 6 | Northern Haiti on September 16, 1945; he graduated from | ||||||
| 7 | Universite D'Etat D'Haiti, Faculte De Medecine in 1974; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin served as a pediatrician to the | ||||||
| 9 | children of Chicago for over 40 years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin possessed a lifelong passion for | ||||||
| 11 | travel, soccer, and tennis and a love for learning and | ||||||
| 12 | reading; he loved sharing his passions with anyone who would | ||||||
| 13 | listen; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin will be remembered for touching the | ||||||
| 15 | lives of many throughout his life as a son, a father, a | ||||||
| 16 | grandfather, a pediatrician, and a philanthropist; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin is survived by his wife of 51 years, | ||||||
| 18 | Marie; his children, Farah and Wilson Jr.; and his | ||||||
| 19 | grandchildren, Alexander, Jeremy, and Henri; therefore, be it

| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Jean Wilson Muscadin, M.D. and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
| 4 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
