| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of
Travis Semplowski of Gillespie, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on July 28, 2009; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was born on August 21, 1987, in | ||||||
| 6 | Litchfield; he was the son of Ronald D. and Tammie L. (Whitlow) | ||||||
| 7 | Semplowski; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was employed as an automotive | ||||||
| 9 | specialist for Walmart in Litchfield; he was also a former | ||||||
| 10 | member of the Gillespie FFA; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 12 | maternal grandparents, Joseph Tom Whitlow Sr. and Eleanor | ||||||
| 13 | (Kahl) Whitlow, and his great-grandparents; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Travis Semplowski is survived by his parents; his | ||||||
| 15 | sister, Ashleigh Semplowski; his brothers, Tyler Semplowski | ||||||
| 16 | and Austin Semplowski; his paternal grandparents, Walter and | ||||||
| 17 | JoAnn Semplowski; his girlfriend, Casey Canter; and his | ||||||
| 18 | numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||

| 1 | his family and friends, the passing of Travis Semplowski; and | ||||||
