| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Officer John G Sweitz, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | June 24, 1928; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was employed by the Cook County | ||||||
| 6 | Sheriff's Highway Police, where he served faithfully; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was survived by his wife and three | ||||||
| 8 | small children; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz dedicated and gave his life to | ||||||
| 10 | protecting and serving the people of Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 12 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 13 | his family and friends, the passing of Officer John Sweitz; and | ||||||
| 14 | be it further
| ||||||
| 15 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 16 | presented to the family of Officer Sweitz as an expression of | ||||||
| 17 | our sympathy.
