1		SENATE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3		learn of the death of Officer John G Sweitz, who passed away
4		June 24, 1928; and
5		WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was employed by the Cook County
6		Sheriff's Highway Police, where he served faithfully; and
7		WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was survived by his wife and three
8		small children; and
9		WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz dedicated and gave his life to
10		protecting and serving the people of Illinois; therefore, be it
11		RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
12		ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
13		his family and friends, the passing of Officer John Sweitz; and
14		be it further
15		RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16		presented to the family of Officer Sweitz as an expression of
17		our sympathy.
