| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Barbara O. Parks, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | January 11, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was born in Chicago and was a | ||||||
| 6 | resident of Joliet for 50 years; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was a member of Sacred Heart Church; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was preceded in death by her parents | ||||||
| 10 | and 2 brothers; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Barbara Parks is survived by 5 sisters, Elizabeth | ||||||
| 12 | Franklin, Salye Marshall, Geraldine Washington, Irene Foster, | ||||||
| 13 | and Pat Shannon; a special niece, Marilyn Dixon; and her many | ||||||
| 14 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 17 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara O. Parks; and | ||||||
| 18 | be it further

| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
