1		SENATE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3		learn of the death of Barbara O. Parks, who passed away on
4		January 11, 2015; and
5		WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was born in Chicago and was a
6		resident of Joliet for 50 years; and
7		WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was a member of Sacred Heart Church;
8		and
9		WHEREAS, Barbara Parks was preceded in death by her parents
10		and 2 brothers; and
11		WHEREAS, Barbara Parks is survived by 5 sisters, Elizabeth
12		Franklin, Salye Marshall, Geraldine Washington, Irene Foster,
13		and Pat Shannon; a special niece, Marilyn Dixon; and her many
14		nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
15		RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
16		ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
17		family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara O. Parks; and
18		be it further
19		RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
