2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of
Mildred T. (Shorb) Buss, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on November 20, 2008; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mildred Buss was born on November 26, 1911 in | ||||||
6 | Fairfield; she was a resident of the Joliet area for the last | ||||||
7 | 50 years; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Mildred Buss was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
9 | Emerson; her parents, Louis and Emma Shorb; and her eight | ||||||
10 | brothers and sisters; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Mildred Buss was the beloved mother of Donald | ||||||
12 | (Mazie) Buss, Marilyn (the late David) Klotz, Mildred (Richard) | ||||||
13 | DeLong, Robert (Joanne) Buss, and Paul "Bussey" (Annette) Buss; | ||||||
14 | the dear grandmother of 22 and proud great-grandmother of 50; | ||||||
15 | the great-great-grandmother of eight; and the dear aunt of | ||||||
16 | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
19 | her family and friends, the passing of Mildred T. Buss; and be | ||||||
20 | it further
