Bill Title: Amends the State Comptroller Act. Authorizes the State Comptroller to create, administer, manage, and operate a supplemental employee deferral plan to supplement and enhance the retirement income of employees of public school districts and community colleges. Sets forth the requirements for a supplemental employee deferral plan.

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1826 on page 3, by | ||||||
| 3 | inserting immediately below line 9 the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "The Comptroller shall discharge his or her duties with | ||||||
| 5 | respect to the supplemental employee deferral plan with the | ||||||
| 6 | care, skill, prudence, and diligence under the circumstances | ||||||
| 7 | then prevailing that a prudent person acting in a like capacity | ||||||
| 8 | and familiar with such matters would use in the conduct of an | ||||||
| 9 | enterprise of a like character with like aims.".
