Bill Title: Amends the Interagency Wetland Policy Act of 1989. Provides that the Act does not apply to construction activities at property or facilities covered by the Alexander-Cairo Port District Act if (i) the property or facilities are located within 6 miles of the confluence of the Ohio River and the Mississippi River and (ii) such actions comply with the applicable mitigation requirements of 40 CFR Part 230.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 820/1-7 new

Amends the Interagency Wetland Policy Act of 1989. Provides that notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, this Act does not apply to certain construction activities or property, provided that such facilities or property are located within 5 miles of the confluence of the Ohio River and the Mississippi River.

1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Forestry Cooperative Agreement Act is
5amended by adding Section 1-7 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 820/1-7 new)
7 Sec. 1-7. Alexander-Cairo Port District. Notwithstanding
8any other provision of this Act, this Act does not apply to
9construction activities at facilities or property covered by
10the Alexander-Cairo Port District Act, provided that such
