AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1226
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1226 on page 3,
line 23, after "students", by inserting ", and no less than 50%
of the total number of enrollment positions and no less than
50% of the total number of special education enrollment
positions in each incoming class must be reserved for students
who live within proximity to the school. Proximity must be
defined as the currently established attendance boundaries of
the following public elementary schools: Cassell, Mount
Greenwood, Clissold, Sutherland, and Kellogg or any other
public elementary school subsequently established within the
attendance boundaries of any of these schools".
