| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1226 on page 3, | ||||||
| 3 | line 23, by replacing "students." with "students, and no less | ||||||
| 4 | than 50% of the total number of enrollment positions in each | ||||||
| 5 | incoming class must be reserved for students who live within | ||||||
| 6 | proximity to the school. "Proximity to the school" means as all | ||||||
| 7 | areas within the existing city limits of Chicago located south | ||||||
| 8 | of 87th Street (8700 South) and west of Wood Street (1800 | ||||||
| 9 | West).".
