Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning eligibility of adults for aid under the "general assistance" Article of the Code.

1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5changing Section 6-1.9 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/6-1.9) (from Ch. 23, par. 6-1.9)
7 Sec. 6-1.9. An adult is eligible for aid under this Article
8if he is (1) age 21 or over, (2) married and and living with a
9spouse, regardless of age, even if living in the residence of a
10natural or adoptive parent or (3) age 18, 19, or 20 and not
11living with a natural or adoptive parent.
