| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Math and | ||||||
| 4 | Science Academy (IMSA) in Aurora on being named the second-best | ||||||
| 5 | public school in the country for 2017; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The website, Niche, compiles data to create | ||||||
| 7 | profiles and rankings of schools, colleges, and places to live; | ||||||
| 8 | the public school rankings were based on data from the United | ||||||
| 9 | States Department of Education; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, IMSA is a selective residential high school that | ||||||
| 11 | draws students from across the State; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Niche also listed IMSA as the second-best high | ||||||
| 13 | school in the country for science, technology, engineering, and | ||||||
| 14 | math; therefore, be it

| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 16 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 17 | congratulate the Illinois Math and Science Academy on being | ||||||
| 18 | named the second-best public school in the country for 2017; | ||||||
