| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Noble "Andy" Stubblefield is retiring after 38 | ||||||
| 3 | years of work as a dispatcher, first as a volunteer at the | ||||||
| 4 | LeRoy Communications Center and then at the McLean County | ||||||
| 5 | Sheriff's Department and Metcom in Bloomington; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has supported emergency | ||||||
| 7 | services in central Illinois in a variety of capacities, | ||||||
| 8 | including as a former EMT-B, photographer, radio operator, EOC | ||||||
| 9 | radio operator for civil defense, and communications officer; | ||||||
| 10 | and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield was an original member of the | ||||||
| 12 | McLean County ESDA Maintenance Group, now the McLean County | ||||||
| 13 | Emergency Management Agency Operations team; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield goes above and beyond by | ||||||
| 15 | volunteering his time as a Disaster Volunteer for the American | ||||||
| 16 | Red Cross of the Heartland and in numerous other leadership | ||||||
| 17 | roles as board member, treasurer, and secretary of emergency | ||||||
| 18 | services groups and associations; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is the owner and operator of | ||||||
| 20 | Central Illinois Communications Consultant, sharing his | ||||||
| 21 | knowledge and expertise with other agencies and departments; | ||||||

| 2 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is a Master Mason and a lifetime | ||||||
| 3 | member of Bloomington Lodge 43; he is also a member of the | ||||||
| 4 | McLean County Shrine Club; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield plans to continue to stay active | ||||||
| 6 | and involved in ensuring safety and preparedness in the McLean | ||||||
| 7 | County area and the State of Illinois; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has been married to Paula | ||||||
| 9 | Stubblefield for 32 years; together, they have a deep love for | ||||||
| 10 | their animal family members; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 12 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 13 | congratulate Noble "Andy" Stubblefield on the occasion of his | ||||||
| 14 | retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the | ||||||
| 15 | future; and be it further
