| 1 | AN ACT concerning health.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental | ||||||
| 5 | Disabilities Code is amended by adding Section 1-102.1 as | ||||||
| 6 | follows:

| 7 | (405 ILCS 5/1-102.1 new) | ||||||
| 8 | Sec. 1-102.1. "Clinical professional counselor" means a | ||||||
| 9 | person licensed as a clinical professional counselor in | ||||||
| 10 | accordance with the Professional Counselor and Clinical | ||||||
| 11 | Professional Counselor Licensing and Practice Act.

| 12 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 13 | becoming law.
