20 ILCS 405/405-126 new

Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Central Management Services shall allow State employees and applicants for State employment positions to indicate their preferred personal pronouns on State-created employment and personnel documents and forms.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services
5Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
6adding Section 405-126 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 405/405-126 new)
8 Sec. 405-126. Choice of pronouns on employment and
9personnel documents. The Department shall allow State
10employees and applicants for State employment positions to
11indicate their preferred personal pronouns on State-created
12employment and personnel documents and forms.
