AN ACT concerning government.
| ||||
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||
represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||
Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding | ||||
Section 43 as follows:
| ||||
(5 ILCS 460/43 new) | ||||
Sec. 43. State wildflower. The plant Asclepias spp, | ||||
commonly known as "Milkweed", is designated the official State | ||||
wildflower of the State of Illinois.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||
becoming law.
