Bill Title: Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that for dates of service on and after July 1, 2022, all Illinois and out-of-state cost reporting hospitals designated as Children's Specialty Hospitals by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services as of January 1, 2022 must be paid a base per diem rate for inpatient general acute services and rehabilitation services no less than $2,500 per day. Defines "base rate" to mean the per diem rate in effect before adding any additional rate add-ons for disproportionate share hospital adjustment payments, Medicaid percentage adjustments, or Medicaid High Volume Adjustments. Effective July 1, 2022.
