Summary

Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act. Requires the Governor to have the advice and consent of the Senate for appointments to fill a trustee vacancy in the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. Provides that if, during a recess of the Senate, there is a vacancy in an office of trustee, the Governor shall make a temporary appointment until the next meeting of the Senate when the Governor shall make a nomination to fill the vacant office. Effective immediately.
