Summary

Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that the Illinois Commerce Commission shall require that if a customer elects to suspend gas service for a portion of the year, then the gas utility may not charge that customer a gas meter fee or penalty during the period that service is suspended. Effective July 1, 2010.
