AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2952
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2952 on page 16, by
3replacing lines 5 through 15 with the following:
4 "(b) The Prescription Monitoring Program Advisory
5Committee shall consist of 16 members appointed by the Clinical
6Director of the Prescription Monitoring Program The Clinical
7Director of the Prescription Monitoring Program shall appoint
8members to serve on the advisory committee. The advisory
9committee shall be composed of prescribers and dispensers
10licensed to practice in his or her respective profession as
11follows: one family or primary care physician; one pain
12specialist physician; 4 other physicians, one of whom may be an
13ophthalmologist licensed to practice medicine in all its
14branches; 2 one advanced practice registered nurses nurse; one
15physician assistant; one optometrist; one dentist; one
16podiatric physician; one veterinarian; one clinical
17representative from a statewide organization representing
18hospitals; and 3 pharmacists. The Advisory"; and
