Senate File 2228 AN ACT ALLOWING A PERSON WITH A SPECIAL MINOR’S LICENSE TO DRIVE TO A SCHOOL FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARTICIPATING IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED UNDER A SHARING AGREEMENT WITH THE STUDENT’S SCHOOL OF ENROLLMENT. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 321.194, subsection 1, paragraph a, Code 2014, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (1A) During the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. over the most direct and accessible route between the licensee’s residence or school of enrollment and a school that is not the student’s school of enrollment for the purpose of participating in extracurricular activities conducted under a sharing agreement with the student’s school of enrollment. Sec. 2. Section 321.194, subsection 1, paragraph a, subparagraph (2), Code 2014, is amended to read as follows: (2) To a service station for the purpose of refueling, so
