House File 2235 - Enrolled House File 2235 AN ACT DISQUALIFYING A PERSON CONVICTED OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING INVOLVING THE USE OF A COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE FROM OPERATING A COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE FOR LIFE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 321.208, subsection 2, paragraph d, Code 2020, is amended to read as follows: d. A felony or aggravated misdemeanor involving the use of a motor vehicle , other than an offense involving manufacturing, distributing, or dispensing a controlled substance a felony or aggravated misdemeanor otherwise provided for in this section . Sec. 2. Section 321.208, Code 2020, is amended by adding the following new subsection: NEW SUBSECTION . 5A. A person is disqualified from operating a commercial motor vehicle for life upon a conviction that the person used a commercial motor vehicle in the commission of a
